Super Heavy Haul Crew Member
Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul
Location: Oklahoma, OK
The Role:
Super Heavy Haul Crew Members are generally responsible for the execution of hands-on field level tasks. You will travel across North America working alongside trailer operators/technicians, truck drivers, mechanics, pilot car drivers, utility bucket truck and crane crews to ensure smooth and reliable operation of equipment before, during, and after each job.
Responsibilities:
- Complete company and equipment manufacturer required safety and operational training.
- Work under the direction of senior crew members to:
- Learn equipment operation and maintenance protocols for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform yard and jobsite tasks associated with modular trailer reconfiguration, as well as loading, securing, and unloading cargo.
- Assist in maintaining the health and compliance of the fleet.
- Safely operate and maintain company supplied vehicles and tools.
- Help maintain clean and organized facilities and work areas.
- Promote safety and teamwork throughout all interactions with peers.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma, Vocational/trade school, or work experience in a related trade.
- Special Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly, handle stressful situations and pay close attention to detail. Must also be able to work and perform as a team player. Must be able to display physical dexterity and mechanical skills.
