HP Amine Contactor Transport

From Fabrication to Foundation, Northwest has safely completed the first stage of an HP Amine Contactor Tower transportation and set project. The 471,031 lbs. tower was loaded onto our Dual Lane Transporter at the fabrication facility and rolled onto a barge in Iuka, MS. The tower will travel an estimated 7 days on the barge via the intercoastal waterway to the Port of Victoria, TX. The Northwest Team will meet the barge in Victoria and haul the 79ft long tower 1,040 permitted miles through Texas where the Northwest Crane Service team will execute the standing and setting of the HP Amine Contactor Tower onto the customers pad.

 

 

The Northwest Team has safely completed the second stage of the HP Amine Contactor Tower transportation and offload project. The 471,031 lbs. tower traveled the intercoastal waterways for 13 days aboard the barge, navigating two tropical storms and 6 separate Waterway Lock Systems to arrive at the Port of Victoria, TX for Roll Off. Our specialized team completed roll off operations at the Port of Victoria, TX and the over the road transportation phase has begun. Northwest will transport the vessel with an Overall Length of 227.3 feet, Overall Width of 14 feet, and a Gross Total Weight of 812,000 lbs. 1,040 permitted miles.

 

Northwest has safely completed the over the road transportation phase of the HP Amine Contactor Tower transportation and offload project. The 471,031 lbs. tower loaded on Northwest’s dual lane transporter has arrived after its 1,040 permitted mile journey navigating bridges, underpasses, tight turns, and scenic Texas open roads. The tower has arrived safely at its destination where the Northwest Crane Service Team is ready to unload it.
